First off, my apologies to AV who I referred in my original posting as AZ.
As for some light, accept that I'm a former malcontent CGEYer. With that said, these guys and many former CGEY partners sold out to the French for some hefty dollars. Unless they tell you up front, most were in strong agreement with the sale. It wasn't until 12 months into the deal that the proverbial poop started to hit the fan. I blame these guys for agreeing to the sale and/or bailing out. They should have known that the French have no solid track record for running an American company. Those of us left at CG truly took it up the...
For certain, these guys are rainmakers (for the northeast) but are abrassive as all out. Rest assured they will ruffle some serious feathers and the ones who'll feel the brunt the most will be legacy Deloitte Partners and Senior Managers. It'll be interesting to see who's left standing. Let the blood bath begin!
With that said, AV just let the wolves in the door. Does he really think he can keep these guys on a leash? He should watch his back. Oh, and if you think you work hard now, these guys will bust our b*&&@.
I'd say things are looking up for Deloitte, but it'll be a very different division and frankly I was beginning to enjoy things.
As for Navigant, don't give those guys much notice. I have no idea where you got the 500 hires. They may have hired 500 over the past three years, but I guarantee you that their turnover rate is approaching 30%. Their pay is mediocre and I recently heard that they are forcing their more senior consultants to purchase Navigant stock. It looks as if they're trying to raise capital to pay off debt and eventually get sold.
There's my two cents. Hope it was helpful. |

What is Deloitte's stand on Accenture and IBM BCS's entry into Healthcare Provider segment?
IBM and Accenture is already hurting the TI/EA practice and we are only getting what is left over in the market.......
Any inside news/thoughts etc.....
