All the botique consulting firms or industry would do GC immediately you join the firm.
DC will keep you for couple of years and then only will initiate GC process, depending on how good you are and also how well the practice/firm is doing. So in other word you could be a wizard in SAP, but if the practice is not doing good, then they might not go ahead with GC.
