I am a 2nd year manager with Deloitte. Unfortunately, it appears that the market is providing much better compensation than Deloitte. Actually, that is just for existing employees. I KNOW new-hires at my level who have been brought in for $30K more. So, Deloitte knows that their existing employees are underpaid, regardless of what the partners say.
I just started looking for other employment. The initial discussions around salary have been $40-50K more. |

so tell deloitte that! - be prepared to walk away if they dont get closer to matching the offer. If you know what you are doing, if your reviews are strong then why wouldnt they give you the raise? Think about it - if you leave they have to replace you - at the current market rate... If you are mediocre, be glad you have a job or just leave and get the raise.
