I am a 2nd year manager with Deloitte. Unfortunately, it appears that the market is providing much better compensation than Deloitte. Actually, that is just for existing employees. I KNOW new-hires at my level who have been brought in for $30K more. So, Deloitte knows that their existing employees are underpaid, regardless of what the partners say.
I just started looking for other employment. The initial discussions around salary have been $40-50K more.
