Increases in Deloitte depend more on who you know than how you perform. First year I did not get a raise. Second year it was 3% even though I have been rated among the top 5% since my joining. People who consorted with partners got more increases and faster promotions even though they missed deadlines. Salary is not worth the stress in Deloitte. |

Do you mean network? hmm this is a networking business so it kind of makes sense that how you do at year end depends on who knows you. Btw, how do you know you were in the top 5%? Hell, even if you get a 1, I think that is top 10%.
