Congrats on your internship. I'm beginning the interview process this week. Can you offer some insight? Is it behavioral? How many rounds? What was the timeframe between stages?

I interviewed for a full-time systems analyst postion within Deloitte consulting. If you are interviewing for the same type of position you can expect the following. You will have a behavioral interview where they can basically ask anything regarding your past experiences in school and work. To prepare for this interview, I suggest reminiscing on your past experiences and link each experience with vaulable characteristics, for example, leadership, collaboration, team work, communication, customer service, or any others that you think that deem worthy for a consultant. In addition to a behavioral, or perhaps during that same interview, the interviwer may act rude, and may try to get you rattled. This is part of the interview to see how much composure you have. Just stay patient and focused, and you will be fine during this. Your next interview will be a case study interview where the interviewer presents an actual case, and they ask you to go through the process of solving it. For system analysts the cases are usually about implementing a new software system, or replacing outdated servers, etc... (The cases are all very similar in nature). The only advice i can give on this is to think of the problem on a high level, not so much on little details such as what technology to use. Think of it as a business problem. As far as time frame between interviews, it depends. You may have the behavioral first or the case study first. And, they can be on different days, or on the same day. It all depends on scheduling and availability of the interviewers.
