Through the rumor mill I received a tip that Eliot Spitzer, NY is looking at the hiring practices of Deloitte.
Some former disgruntled employees complained about how the process is one sided and at the meetings Managers and above discuss your work without you having the ability to defend yourself in incorrect information said or presented about you. Plus some other employees received job offers, started working at the firm and then HR told them they have to report to another office about 150 miles away.

I dont know about Spitzer.
During my interview, I was told by HR and my managers that I would work in a office that was a 20 minute one way commute. After I started, I ended up going to another office that is a 1 hour and 15 minute commute each way. My office number and email was changed. I ended up spending more time and money on the commute. I feel Deloitte mislead me. I would not have accepted the offer if they told me I would go to the office that is further away.
Also, my counselor accidently forwarded an email to myself and a couple of my coworkers with a spreadsheet criticizing 3 recently hired employees, 2 of whom are no longer with the firm (first names: K and W) S is still with the firm. The counselor, her first name starts with a Y, had us delete the email, but I already saved it elsewhere and I emailed it to my home email.
