I agree, and I'm so glad that I didn't accept the BA offer with Deloitte. You get some interesting experience, but I was looking for a little more freedom before and after B-school. The role at Deloitte seemed way to constrictive to me.
On another note, I'm incredibly happy about my offer from Sapient. They have a variety of service lines, and they really invest in the people they bring on. |

I worked as a BA for 15 months after completing a summer analyst stint and felt that there is some strategy work but also functional support on the system implementations. I know for a fact that my office did not sell itself as a strat consulting firm, although they are trying to get more of that type of work.
Oh yea, if DC did pay for your MBA, you could always leave for a better offer and repay them.
