Raises can be in the low single digits to 20%+. Primary factor will be how well business is doing and the current turnover rate. If turnover is high and business is good, almost everyone will see 8%+. If business is slow you'll see 3-5% or in extreme cases, you may even see pay cuts.
Make sure that your raise won't be pro-rated in April based on the time you are employed. For instance, if you work 4 months of the fiscal year, they will only give you 1/4 of the full raise that you should have seen. |

Hi all,
I'm interviewing for a communications consulting position at DC. Major US city location. MBA from a good school -- not top tier, but top 20. More than 10 years' experience on the corporate side. Any guesstimates on job level and compensation? I'm thinking Sr. Consultant would be appropriate, but don't want to be blind-sided when I get there.
Also, any insights into the F2F interview process, beyond what I was able to learn from the Vault Guides? Those tend to be skewed toward strategy & ops, so I'm not sure how accurate they are for the communications arena.
Any info would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
oritam
