I am currently interviewing for the Sr. Mktg position that will support their LA tax group. I used to work for Andersen and supported many of the Tax Partners in Chicago. They went to Deloitte after the implosion. From their feedback, they are quite happy with Deloitte. From a marketing standpoint, their tax services/products are superior. As far as the pay goes, not too sure. However, whenever you come in from the outside, the pay is usually higher. I am guessing about 10K more, especially with a higher degree. Good Luck. The Ander-oids "drank the Kool-aid" long before they got to Deloitte.
I'm not surprised to hear that they say they are happy given that they managed to completely dominate and ultimately take over that office. Still, the atmosphere in Chicago and many other offices is quite bad.
Stay away unless they pay out the nose for you.
