I would say join. In all of my interviews, 8 first, 6 second, BAP was brought up.
It is not a huge commitment and it definatley is a nice padding to a solid resume.
Ended up at Deloitte - I know they like to see extra envolvement for sure... |

In all 5 of my interviews, both rounds, I was never asked about BAP (I'm not a member). However, you will probably need some other form of extracurricular activites and leadership roles to make up for it. Myself plus three others I know were non-BAP members and given offers. Hope this helps.
