I have gone through my first interview w/ Deloitte and it went very well. I have been in contact w/ the recruiter attempting to transfer me up to the NY/NJ/CT area, yet he says they are all full capacity for new FT hires. I was told there were openings in D.C., Boston, and Vegas. He said that there were a few spots open in the tri-state area but they are being held open for local candidates at local universities. Does this happen often? I feel like my interview went well, I have good grades, but I won't get an office visit because I am from Florida. Is there any other way to get the attention of recruiters up north? I feel like they would be missing out on a top prospect in me. :) Thanks for any input.
