A big contributor to pushing my company out of the top 100.
I accepted an offer at a competitor last week, and gave notice Monday. I'm already feeling healthier, and my face no longer looks as flush as it once did.
Never saw turnover so fast... but then again, I haven't seen gossip and back clawing this bad since I was a teenager back in high school. |

Tax jobs are hot now due, in part, to Sarbanes Oxley. Corporations need to have inhouse expertise or they risk flunking their 404 test, in which case, someone's (usually the CFO's) head will roll.
The extra demand by corporations, as well as the extra demand by accounting firms as they now take an especially hard look at the controls and the tax provision, means that you have alternatives.
There is no reason why good people should have to put up with the kind of disrespect and abuse they get at Deloitte.
