For the campus visit, meet them and be yourself. Be very outgoing, confident, and let them know what you want. Id send an email to the recruiter that will be coming in, ASAP to give them brif details about you. Your school should have the contact info.
Moving up is based on performance, not necessarily business lines. If you perform well obviously youll move up in any line or profession. Pay differences shouldnt really be a factor. At least i wouldnt consider it.

I think you may need more accounting courses before you can even be considered for an internship at Deloitte. I just got an internship for next year and I have taken all of my accounting courses except for three (9/12)thus far. However, I interviewed for the internship when I was a sophomore and they told me that I had to wait until my junior year and at least had taken intermediate accounting one and two.
Once I had completed these courses, I reapplied and shortly thereafter, I received an offer letter for May of 2006.
