They're overhauling the research associate track completely and not telling new hires!
Now the salary is a rigid $41K, but around June or July they're bringing in new people as "Research Analysts" for $50K plus up to a 20% bonus.
(And no, even though they seem to say that they are not laying people off, you won't automatically move into the new position just because you're already there.)
That's as much as a 50% increase for the same job, and they didn't tell me until I got there!
Forget it.
