In Reply To: Phooey. CEB FOR LIFE, you know not what you speak of. I work for CEB and plan to depart on my own terms. Your dismissive response that other posts are from people asked to leave or have never worked at CEB is ignorant at best. The reason CEB is voted as a great place to work is that the majority of employees have never worked elsewhere and thus have no basis for comparison. CEB wows its young workforce with happy hours, occasional free pizza, and cheerleader meetings. For a kid right out of college, the carefully scripted Kumbyah has its intended effect in workplace surveys. Eventually gravity takes hold, resulting in industry-leading turnover. How can you provide a negative survey response if you don't work there anymore? The irony that you refer to CEB as "The Firm" is not lost on most. Tom Cruise's character was wined and dined to join The Firm, only to find out the truth once on the inside. Hang-up your mouse and keyboard, CEB FOR LIFE, as your glib responses look silly to potential candidates and open the door for those in-the-know to balance out your spin.
Message: 1556 Filbert, Is the situation you describe regarding turnover, etc. true of only the sales side or the research side too? Would employees in research have a different response to such surveys? Would greatly appreciate your and other's response to this... Thanks
