yes, they're very cheap. I worked at CEB for 3 years in research and whenever I traveled it was always cheapest available and cheapest hotel rooms possible, even in London, where cheap means horrible accommodations. Luckily, i did find a good hotel there that met the price requirements, but barely.
Vacation time is a real problem. most people I know didnt take nearly the amount given. I decided to screw it - i took every last second - ha! and now i'm gone, get paid more money, and have my dream job in my dream industry.
CEB was a good experience overall, but when it was time to go it was time to go.

a. Even in one of the most expensive cities in the world you were able to find a great hotel within the Firm's limits.
b. You were able to use every single vacation day with no problems.
