I know CSC employees that have loved their jobs with CSC and find working there very rewarding. I have recently been offered a position with CSC as an Associate in the DC Metro Area and was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I really liked what I saw at CSC but have an offer from another firm in the area with a higher salary. So far, compared to other firms such as Accenture and Bearing Point the benefits at CSC seem to be lacking for brand new associates (maybe across the board). Specifically:
-Vacation time (compared to competitor firms at 25 days)
-Compensation and bonuses
-Job growth/advancement
-Gym memberships
-Retail discounts
-a corporate credit card for expenses
-401K plan.......
I was wondering how new employees enjoyed working at CSC and how they felt about other consulting firms (ACN, BE, CGI, Deloite). Also, if you had other offers why did you choose CSC and where do you wish you started at? |

Don't even think twice to join CSC. I'm a 11 yr senior corporate CSCer and just left, thank God. I'm surprised they remain in business with all the incompetencies that abound the company in all groups.
