Forbes, WSJ and Market Watch have all run articles in the last 2 days saying that Hewlitt Packard and Blackstone Group have a bid into take over CSC. The WSJ says that even if this deal doesn't go through, CSC is "a sitting duck" for a buyout. I logged on expecting this board to be all abuzz. Is everyone working on thier resumes? |

The best way for CSC to defend itself against a takeover by H-P is of course to takeover another company...and thereby offload any spare capital, and take on long-term debt to make them unattractive to H-P. I am sure they are in the process of doing just this...the question is, which company?
