Let's rectify the stale saying: "Cornell is the ugly duckling of the Ivy." First of all, I am HS Senior and chose Cornell over other top notch schools knowing that it is not 'considered' as 'presigious' as HSYP. But truth has it that Cornell is the hardest Ivy to manage, even tho it's not as hard to get in, and that the brightest scholars are filtered once you get in. The academic rigor and intellectual environment are exceptional, despite what other Ivy snobs say: Cornell is not the basement of the Ivy. Now please, soon-to-become fellow Cornellians, let the truth be told.
