Actually,
Just because UVA, W&M, and JMU are all Virginia state schools does not mean they cost the same:
Tuition (without room and board):
JMU- in-state $3,900, out-of-state $9,500
UVA- in-state $4,100, out-of-state $16,600
W&M- in-state $4,600, out-of-state $16,400
I was able to attend JMU (non-VA resident) and pay for my apartment and all living expenses for less than flat tuition at the other schools.
In the future, please be able to back up your statements before you post them.
