This is more for business school than law/medicine etc.
In order to go a good b-school these days you need good work experience. Coming out of college the best way to get good work experience is go to an undergrad school that has a lot of recruiting (read: ivy).
Yes, there are always exceptions to the rules, but just keep your pre-bschool job in mind when selecting an undergrad school.
