Princeton some of the best Graduate Programs in the country. For instance their Mathematics program is in the top 5 in the country. Spending money on a science program doesn't make the school. If we are talking science go to MIT is the best, why else would Bill Gates give us $30 million. Harvard students still come to MIT to take comp. sci. classes. I have a friend who was so disappointed with the dept. that he tried to transfer to MIT. During my Harvard interview the interviewer told me to not bother with Harvard if I was interested in science. I got in, but decided not to go and I am glad. Princeton is still a good school, despite the fact that many people there are pretentious. I am from NJ around there so I have first hand knowledge. |

stanford is the new, princeton is the old
i think once you think about silicon valley (something created largely by stanford) versus new jersey in the past decade, the choice is clear
