Northwestern always get's associated as a private university with ivy league qualities, and that is why it is one of those targeted universities (along with Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, etc) that employers come to to recruit for interns and full time people. |

northwestern is a great university. it does have the name appeal of an ivy league school and is spoken in the same breath as chicago, duke and the ivy league schools. the atmosphere here is competitive but the social scene is great and you'll have the opportunity to party and study. this can't be said for u of chicago, trust me, i have a lot of friends there. top employers love northwestern students and rarely overlook even the ones with mediocre grades.
