Alright, I've had enough of this sh$t. The previous guy is absolutely right. I went to the University of Chicago, I didn't apply to any ivies and if I did I probably wouldn't have gotten in. I went to Chicago because I wanted to LEARN without the snobbery that this message board reeks of. A school should really be measured by the people that are there, at least when you get to the ultra elite bracket. I know brilliant people at ivies that I respect and admire and the same goes for many schools, including (shock!) university of illinois. Go to school and love beethoven dostoyevsky and plato instead of saying your respective school rules the world.
