I currently attend Mercy College's Bronx campus. Most of the students in attendance major in psychology. I find that the psychology professors are great and other teachers are another subject. Anyway, I would like to someday start my own practice in the area of family and marriage counseling. I am currently in my junior year at Mercy and it is time to start looking into graduate programs. I want to go as far as getting my Ph.D, but I find that there is a lack of communication and a lack of information that I can obtain in making my plans. Does anyone have any advice on where to look for info or what school(s) should I apply to? |

You can check out the usnews online site, its web address is www.usnews.com. Click on grad school, then click on phd programs, scroll down until you get to psychology. The rest should be obvious, i think that rochester,northwester, stanford, and chicago are in it, but i don't really know. Best of luck searching. You can also checkout the national education research assocation for more info. I don't know their web address, but if you do a serch on yahoo, It will probably come up
