Does anyone know how hard it is to transfer to cornell or any other ivy-league universities? Which one do you think is the easiest to get into? I know it is impossible to transfer into princeton, that's one that i know for sure, but what about the others. What would be an acceptable or what is the average GPA for brown, columbia, or harvard( for a transfer student). If you have any information help me out and especially if you are from any ivy-league school your insight would be very helpful. I was also thinking about applying to northwestern. How would northwestern, measure up against the ivy league school's or is there no comparision. |

It is difficult to transfer to an ivy, but not impossible. I transferred to Penn with a 3.8 after 2 years. from what i understand, this is about the same for cornell and brown. yale and harvard are probably more difficult. grades are definitely not the most important aspect, though. You should have a strong set of core courses from a good school, as well as activities. basically the same as high school. good luck!
