Anyone care to give a recommendation for Fordham? I am thinking of going there and doing an evening program. Obviously, it is not Ivy league, so let's not fall into that whole pile of nonsense. Just want to know how it stacks up against NYU, Pace etc...Also, can you get into a good MBS program if you go to Fordham? |

I went to Pace my first year but then transfered in to NYU Stern. I was accepted into NYU and other fine schools (Michigan, Maryland, BU, Carnegie Mellon) but could not afford to attend at that time. Pace gave me a full scholarship so I thought I give it a try. What a mistake!!! All the classes (business and general education) are a piece of cake. Over 70% of all professors are adjuncts and the classrooms are damn crowded. Pace certainly cannot be compared to the high caliber of NYU or even Fordham or Baruch. Excellent advice: Avoid Pace!!! You will thank me. As for Fordham, the school has a very nice campus and the programs are pretty good. I have a friend at Fordham and he tells me that the students are very bright and motivated. I would certainly give Fordham a try. The only negative thing about the school is its location in the north bronx, which could take commuters hours to get up there.
