Folks,
You just have to see what percentage you a person at X school is in w/ a 3.5, 3.75, 3.0 etc grade.
At Princeton last year, if you had a 3.7 you didn't even make it to the top 25% of your class! This is a typical example of Ivy league inflation.
If you look at traditionally harder schools such as W&M or MIT, a 3.7 GPA guarantees you in the top 10-15%.

Yep, I hear that MIT is no joke when it comes to the competition for the top grades. Probably the hardest school in the country to get an A.
