I have visited many prestigious campuses and these are my picks for prettiest campus based on architecture and setting:
Tier One
Duke
Stanford
UVA
Cornell
Tier Two
Yale
Columbia

On what kind of school fits your ideal image of being "pretty." Everybody has different tastes in setting (i.e. urban, "Ivy League", southwest, etc.). I have been to a lot of colleges, and the prettiest I have been to is definitely Indiana University-Bloomington. Exactly what I picture when I think of a large university. University of Michigan is a close second. Duke is the prettiest "smaller" university that I have been to. Who picked UNC? That university is organized with no planning in mind and none of the buildings match. The only thing beautiful about it is that it is an old campus so it has a lot of interesting architecture.
