In Reply To: I can understand that for those of you who weren't able to cut it and attend such an esteemed university as Yale, the ranckles of jealousy cloud your judgement. For those of you who think violence is an epidemic confined to the city of New Haven, you are idiots (let us not forget the murder suicides that run rampant right on Harvard's campus. Princeton students might be better off following Harvard's example) For those of you who think New Haven is a total wasteland, once again your observations are limited. While not a sprawling city, New Haven has many nice areas you would not believe because your idea of seeing a city is based on gossip you hear. Yale's campus sports more grassy areas and fields as it is a real campus and not just a set of quaint buildings in the city (unlike Harvard, Columbia, M.I.T, and numerousthers.) And unlike the depressingly boring Princeton, there are other things to do besides yelling to God for forsaking you in that wasteland known as Princeton. As for the US News rankings, how nice of them to make a pitiful school feel good. When you are the best you don't need a pat on the back, you already know it.
Message: I"m just a Southern cracker with degrees from public universities, but at least I can spell!
