Duke has the nicest and most beautiful campus with it's gothic architecture and pastoral setting.
I also think the University of Michigan is beautiful. It's a city within itself.
As far as the best downtown is concerned, ASU in Tempe,AZ has the coolest downtown. It's new red brick buildings have interesting assortment of top quality bars like Fat Tuesdays and Gordan Biersche along with great restaraunts like Raw and PF changs. Throw in great shopping too. |

I can't believe someone mentioned Williams as having one of the most beautiful campuses. Wesleyan surpasses Williams by far.
Williams campus consists of a single road surround by buildings. Anyone who's been to Middletown knows that nothing is more exquisite than autumn on Foss Hill.
