I'm having a dilemma right now. I've gotten accepted to UC San Diego for Electrical Engineering and UC Davis for Computer Science. I can't decide which college I should go. Which college would give me a better opportunity to work at Silicon Valley? Any advise? |

Lived in Sac area growing up, went to UCSD for undergraduate & had a lot of EE friends. (I was Structural Engineering)
Upon graduation, the majority went to SV/SF for the big boys. UCSD also has a lot of grants from these companies as well and thus the opportunity to develop an in.
In terms of Quality of Life, San Diego is the best place I've lived, though the cost of living is about 33% higher than Davis/Sacramento.
