I am the original poster.
Thank you everyone for your excellent words of advice, whether encouraging or critical. All your comments entirely make sense to me and I truly appreciate them.
By the way, I am not antisocial, as one poster seemed to have suggested. I am involved in a basketball league outside of school and have a red belt in tae kwon do.
