i graduated from miami in '99, and moved to dallas last year, and hardly anyone i've met has recognized miami university as anything other than "the miami thats not in florida"
sorry to say, because it has a good reputation around the midwest, but calling it the harvard of the midwest is a bit much... |

im from northern california and got some promotional material from miami of ohio several years ago when in highschool. i was disappointed to learn that i was not being recruited by a school in florida. i just assumed that it was some small no name private school since i hadnt heard of it. maybe people at the top are more knowledgable. i wonder what the average SAT or ACT conversion is. that would be a good way to see how its difficulty compares to other top schools.
