I am writing this to see if any other Sociology students like myself are being asked everyday by people they know, "Why are you going to school for that, it pays dirt." First of all, Sociology is one of the most enlightening fields because you never stop learning, it is always changing. And secondly, there are so many rewarding jobs, financially and emotionally, that it makes it worth while. Even if I end up not making alot of money, I will know that I am doing something that is for the good of other humans and that broadens my mind to an extent most people can't even imagine. Please tell me if anyone else is having this problem. Let's let them know that Sociology kicks butt!!!!!!
