1)This is a message board - not an assassination
2) Exactly - going to a top notch biz school can be equated to career advance. Analysts who wish to further their climb up the ib ladder almost always go to business school to refine their knowledge of finance and management. In all honesty, i cant tell you much about it. Several of my buddies are already at HBS and wharton. I was lucky and landed a job at a fund - so im putting off b-school for another couple of years.
3) Sweating out two years of being an analyst is like being pushed onto a steep learning curve - and depending on the group youre assigned - you can come away learning more in those two years to compensate/build on finance classes you halfassed in college.
You might have it easier to begin with, but - nothing in college will prepare you for the intense hours, the pressure and the demands bitched at you constantly.
