My intent here is to not bash any one undergrad business program. But as a recent graduate at Stern ( NYU), I must say that in my opinion Stern gives you something the other 9 schools (I believe we're ranked 10th) can't give you-the opportunity to work in NYC for 4 years. Believe me-this HELPS. When you go to apply for a job, interning on Wall Street for 3 years completely outshines 3 summers. Moreover, being in the city teaches you about the world-again, something you may not be as apt to be exposed to in a more sheltered environment. My point? We all know that rankings account for something-but if you don't look at the overall picture, you'll be missing a lot.
