In Reply To: I laughed when I read the responses to my last post. Why is that 'screwing' the client? Clients who are self directed use whatever they want to succeed. The vast majority of them are reasonably successful. Clients who need help will typically be better suited for mutual funds due to their professional management. So why is it bad to make recs that include mutual funds? SCHW is in the business of making money for our clients. Why would we not want to accomplish that while helping clients? It's not like I'm selling A or B shares, or pimping annuities. I think that new pay system is much better then what it was. It encourages reps to keep in touch with clients. That is a good thing, if the reps know something about investing. If they don't, then they just parot liz ann and the rest of the scir and the client is helped. Asset allocation is what we all do. It creates a portfolio that has a lower risk. If you don't like that they you can go screw yourself.
Message: texas f, Listen to me you little brat. You brag that you are lazy and focus only on the easy money and won't pick up the phone. Somehow you can't recognize that as a problem. YOU ARE PICKING SHAREHOLDERS' POCKETS AND ARE STUPID OR ARROGANT ENOUGH TO ADMIT IT. I believe someone like you exists because you have no problem attaching your lips firmly to your manager's rear end to survive. No wonder you couldn't make it at a wirehouse. Did you make it through the probation period? You rattle off a bunch of assumptions why you think posters don't like you which are off base. In reality, it's a big picture problem. YOUR ATTITUDE AND WORK ETHIC SUCKS. Don't mistake ordertaking for actual ability. It is obvious you can't sell because you can't finish a sentence or post coherently. Hopefully, your free ride is almost over. On Ignore
