does it decline over a number of years? A lot of places now have declining salaries and i just want to see if Schwab does the same thing. |

It got harder because they cut the payout on practice assets. It will continue to get harder as they start to direct new leads to the national branch instead of the FC. New leads that are less than 250k will go national- problem being a lead can come in as zero but you uncover they have 500k. It also matters who your branch manager is. My MGR makes it almost impossible to add new clients to my practice unless it is converted into an offer, others do not. My mgrs motive is that if she has a big enough unassigned practice he could hire another broker and look like a champ to her boss. So its a constant battle. The other issue is that new brokers without a full practice get all of the good leads directed to them, so the real producers get screwed out of new clients. Corporations are scum, I guess the most important thing is working for someone that you like and feel comfortable with.
