If you are an FC at Schwab at not making 100k a year, you need to get out of the business. Its easy sales, leads are there for the taking, and the comp plan supports 100k quite easily for those who work and don't loaf. As for the top dollar mentioned, some have reached that, but it is folly to 'expect' that. A very good broker at SCH will clear 200k within a few years. Tell me of a place that does that with the same amount of opportunity as Schwab (and has no cold calling). Don't listen to the slugs who moan about making 100k they are the ones still dragging the image of sch brokers into the ground, while the majority are cashing their checks.
