55k base is for a series 7 broker with experience ,
90k is for an experienced branch manager(series 9,10,24).
the greeter in my office makes 30k with very small bonus oppertunity.
if you have your series 7 and you can make over 100k at sch,you will be in the top 25% of the brokers.
as far as those top end numbers, there may be 1 or 2 reps in each region who come close to those numbers , but it more of an urban legend @schw.
if you need to get your series 7, go to a wirehouse program (merrill and morgan have good programs).
you'll learn more about sales and product.
