Not sure what you point is on the rankings, but I am not sure what your point is on most things.
Tax panel? All I know about this is what I read in the papers, you know, small time papers like the NY Times or the Wall Street Journal. They report that the tax panel delivered their set of recommendations to the White House on time. From there (now this is just a guess) I think that President Bush and Treasury Secretary Snow have to figure out what to do next.
I would add that getting asked to be on a presidential panel is a pretty impressive thing, regardless of any political preferences one may have regarding this administration. Maybe Bush just wanted those gleeming teeth you are so worried about on his side. Any chance the White House actually asked you first and you had to pass because you were too busy?

Chuck was a "Bush Pioneer" and W likes him. Lynnette Deilly was also dialed in and became a trade emmissary. These aren't selections based on overwhelming talent as much as connections and friendship.
