Yay! You're free to have to slog around for another job that will likely pay less than what you made. Under a boss who acts like he is doing you a "favor" for getting back in the corporate world!
yay! You can pat yourself on the back for padding a pension or saving a job at U.S. Trust! Yay!
You just did yourself a favor by receiving that layoff notice! Yay! You saved someone ELSE within Schwab a lot of family budget headaches. Hooray!

I was also laid off last week from retail. Does anyone know about retiree benefits for over 50? Seems like a majority of long timers were replaced in this round.
