I just accepted a SDC offer from Cerner. I am looking for apartments in Kansas City, and was wondering if anyone has any recomendations. I was looking at Cityview just becuase it is so close, but I am sure their are better places that I just dont know about.

Stay away from the edge of the financial district and the rivermarket area. I picked a place online because it seemed really nice, and the building is great... but there are crack dealers within a block from here. You can't walk outside even during the day. Basically the downtown area is very spotty, although it is very close to Cerner. I would recommend checking out the Plaza area, as well as some of the apartment complexes on the north side near Cerner.
