"Hatred bred to the bone"? That's a generational thing whereby children are taught to hate the West or Isralis from when they are kids, and every influence around them says the same (like in Palistine)and that takes time (decades/generations)to turnaround.
Were getting into policy here, but don't you think the funding used to support secular schools in Pakistan to combat the Madrasis that breed hatred is a counter-terror front? What about tracking and blocking terrorist funding? How about building relationships with the (in this case) Muslim communities in order to gain intel on radicals in order to stop a sleeper cell from carrying out its attack at an earlier stage? You don't seem to get it.
Hardened tangos that have bomb belt or AK-47 in hand need to be combated with military force, but anything leading up to that point is open to multiple CT tools. If you just wait till everyone has a gun in thier hands this GWOT will be here forever without let up. Get a grip! |

Why do you think the multiple CT tools shouldn't include paramilitary training? Why do you think it shouldn't include good physical fitness? I'm not saying everyone needs to be the guy from Splinter Cell, but if you want to spend a career working in offices, try the FBI.
