I have full fluency in a foreign language and overseas work experience, yet my undergraduate degree was in something not specified by the site's agency requirement list. Although I believe this major has given me several assets that I feel are immensely valuable to the agency, I'm afraid the automated online application selection process wont let me through. Is that how it works? Does this automated selection process just scan applications that meet any of the basic requirements (apparently excluding BFA majors) and toss out the ones thats arent precleared, all before an actual human eye can look them over and see the obvious (and desirable) positives? |

A BFA wouldn't weed something out either. There's a whole department in the DI that does imaging and media and design with analysts.
