In Reply To: Looking for advice: Like many college students and young professionals, I've lived in a group house with several other people my age for the past few months. The problem is that since I found the place via a classified ad and I haven't spent any significant amount of time with my housemates, I don't know much about them--and I think one might be a naturalized citizen. In the "YOUR RELATIVES AND ASSOCIATES" section of the SF86 form, you're required to provide information for "19. Adult Currently Living With You." This includes the Certif./Regist. No., Issue Date, Court Name, etc.... I'd rather not tell my housemates that I'm applying for a CIA job, but how am I supposed to get this information without sounding really suspecious/weird? After all, asking someone you live with but don't really know for a naturalization paperwork is more than a little strange.
Message: on the foreign national contact form, you're asked to provide city of birth, date of birth, and things like that - but the form also instructs not to inquire or try to get information that would raise suspicion of the foreign national. If you aren't certain, it probably isn't worth ascertaining the specific information... just include what you know/suspect.
