and on the level. are you thinking about arabic? go to a place like cairo, damascus, or amman (in my opinion). these cities will have some english speakers, but not as many as a city like beirut. also, there is no dominant second language like french. lastly, there are good schools and teachers experienced with foreigners. if you don't care as much about your safety and don't mind having your travel severely restricted, go to yemen. you will never speak english (but you must stay in sana'a unless you are nuts). |

Marhaba ya cm492 - Was just curious what your level is in Arabic. I'm advanced-ish but have a way to go before achieving fluency. Just starting out in the interview process. What other langs do you know if you don't mind my asking? How much of a leg up do you feel your language skills have given you as you've gone through the interview process? Thanks.
