State Department is the best bet. No one outside the Beltway really understands what it is anyway. I do wonder about NOCs. Another approach is that your being hired by a goverment contractor and this is just part of the process, and you have not really decided whether to accept the job or not. |

the state dept was a tricky one for me because i was surrounded by a group of people who were going through their oral assessments at the time (as was I). once i passed my OA, those guys started by BI as well and came around interviewing the exact same people, so it was a damn good thing i didn't use State before. the funny thing was that the State BI was MUCH more thorough.
